Our story begins over dinner with friends, wine and a game of thumb war.  Anna was new to Philadelphia and organized a dinner with a few friends from out of town.  One friend asked to invite a few others, and another asked to invite more; what started as a 5-person evening turned into a 25-person party.  David was one of the last ones invited to the dinner, but the first to notice Anna when she walked in.  

As the night progressed and everyone began rotating around the table, David saw his moment to sit next to Anna.  Instead of introducing himself, David challenged Anna to a game of thumb war across the table.  The victor of the match is still an ongoing debate (though David claims that he won).

After almost 3 years of adventures, moving in together and dollar taco nights, David knew that Anna was the one.  David brought Anna to their favorite local vineyard where they indulged in wine and enjoyed the sunny day.  As they walked the property, David found a quiet place where he asked Anna to spend the rest of her life with him…and of course she said yes!
